This book was quite a fun read, what I could call a romantic literary thriller… A woman goes on a journey driven both by her love of literature and books. Along the way she finds romance as well as heartache, and we are treated to some suspense in two ways: Will she find redemption for her transgressions and breaking the trust of her boss and friend? Will she finally meet her father and what kind of person will he turn out to be? And there are some surprising answers along the way.
If you like the various works of the Brontë sisters and also have a fascination for the places where such talents grew then I invite you to take this journey as well. The book comes out at the end of October and will be a good companion to a hot cup of tea by a window overlooking trees turning to gold and red in the autumn sun.
